ThirdLove Bra Review
I’ve seen ads for ThirdLove bras forever now and finally decided to try it out (this is not sponsored in any way). My previous bra had seen much better days and was worn the fuck out. I prefer to have one go-to bra that I wear literally every day for pretty much any occasion (that doesn’t require a strapless bra). I’m larger chested so comfort and support are super important to me—padding and push up are not.
The Process
I am absolutely in love with the ThirdLove Fit Finder process. It is basically an online quiz with questions about your breast size and shape, your current bra and any issues you might be having. It is 100 times better than going into a store and trying on a million different bras in different sizes and styles. Who has time for that? It takes less than 5 minutes to fill out and you receive your size and cup style recommendation instantly (as well as emailed to you for future reference).
The Fit
The fit is pretty spot on. Prior to ordering from ThirdLove I was wearing a size 34D. According to my quiz answers they recommended a 32D1/2, which is fairly close to what some in-store associates at different stores have recommended to me in the past based on physical measurements they’ve taken. Overall I’m super satisfied with the fit and support. Plus, the straps have not slipped on me once so far (which was a big issue with my previous bra).
Pro Tip: You should wear your bra on the first set of hooks (the loosest option) and it should fit snugly. As the bra stretches out over time, you move to the next tightest hooks. I’ve heard this tip before but am finally taking it to heart based on my ThirdLove experience. If you wear your bra on the tightest hooks from the get-go, you are wearing your bra out way faster (which I’m guilty of since forever). By switching to this method, it also changed my band size (from 34 -> 32).
Comfort
This. Bra. Is. So. Comfortable. I can’t express this enough. I am typically a ‘take your bra off as soon as you get home’ kind of girl but I’ve often forgotten I’m even wearing a bra while wearing my ThirdLove. I’ve even taken NAPS in this bra (which is absolutely unheard of for me).
Customer Service
The ThirdLove customer service is beyond. As soon as I received my bra, I tagged them in a picture on my Instagram stories and they sent me a super personalized direct message almost immediately to make sure I was happy with my purchase and we had a short convo. I’ve never had another brand do this. It was a nice surprise and made me feel like they truly care about their customers.
They also have a 60 Day Fit Guarantee. “Wear it. Wash it. If you don't love it for any reason, we'll take it back.” Exchanges and returns are always free. And here’s the best part: they donate all gently worn bras to women in need. Which is ah-maz-ing.
I would highly recommend.
I had heard mixed reviews from a few people prior to purchasing but, if you couldn’t tell already, I would highly recommend a ThirdLove bra. It is more expensive than most any other bra I’ve ever purchased, but for something you wear every day, the investment is SO worth it.
