We topped our day-cation in Pentwater, MI off with a little retail therapy downtown. If you haven’t been shopping downtown Pentwater, I highly recommend! They have a few of the cutest boutiques! My summer outfit of the day included sunglasses from Urban Outfitters, a grey muscle tee (old from Marshalls but linked a similar one here), distressed jean shorts (under $20!) and my favorite casual sandals of all time—the Z/Chromatic Chacos.

Sizing

I am wearing a size 6 in the distressed jean shorts from Target—they fit true to size. Chaco sandals are only available in whole sizes. I am typically a true 8, so that wasn’t an issue for me. But if you’re in between sizes I would recommend sizing down (i.e. if you’re an 8.5, size down to an 8).
