My 19 Favorite Amazon Finds of the Last 6 Months
I have a slight obsession with Amazon, especially since we’ve moved to the middle of the woods where shopping is not the most convenient. I always love to see what everyone else is buying, so I thought I’d share a random list of my favorite Amazon finds I’ve purchased in the last 6 months—baby, kitchen, outdoor, furniture and more!
Thermacell Patio Shield Mosquito Repeller
We live in the middle of the woods so I thought I’d try one of these Thermacell mosquito repellers. I’ve only used it once so far but it seems to work pretty decently. I definitely recommend putting it out 15-30 mins before you plan on sitting outside so it has time to warm up and get working.
Dreambaby Chelsea Extra Wide Auto Close Security Gate
We bought two of these for our stairway and they are so great! They auto-close behind you but also have a setting to stay open when needed. They’re very sturdy and are not a total eye sore like many baby gates. We also bought the baby gate wall cups so we wouldn’t have to drill anything into the wall and they work perfectly! BONUS: This is also perfect to block off areas you don’t want your dogs getting to.
Child Cabinet Locks
The time has finally come for us to child-proof the kitchen. We got these cabinet locks and they work great and don’t require any screws or holes—they stick on to the cabinet with a strong adhesive.
Whiskey Glass & Ice Mold Set
This was the perfect Father’s Day gift for my whiskey loving husband. The glasses are heavy and high quality and the ice molds are super fun and turn out great!
Mitchiner Reclining Sofa
I absolutely LOVE this couch. I originally saw it in an Ashley Furniture showroom but wasn’t ready to spend close to $1000 there on it. I went home and started researching and found it on Amazon for WAY cheaper (and also returnable—which was not an option at Ashley’s showroom). Both ends recline and the middle seat drops down to become a table and drink holder. I’ve already ordered another one to match and fill out our living room!
Two-Story Fire Escape Ladder
We moved from a ranch to a two-story home at the beginning of this year and these were an absolute must. We bought one for our room and one for Alayna’s nursery. It gives me peace of mind knowing we have an escape plan if anything were to happen.
One-Piece Leopard Bathing Suit
I absolutely LOVE this bathing suit! It fits great (I bought a medium) and is super flattering. One of my favorite one-piece bathing suits this summer.
Ear Crawler Earrings
These earrings are so cute! I have pretty sensitive ears and these don’t bother me at all.
Black & White Stripe Two-Piece High Waist Bathing Suit
Another one of my favorite bathing suits this summer! The high waist bottom is SO flattering and the pompom detailing is the cutest! I recommend sizing up as it runs small according to reviews. I am typically a 6-8 and I ordered a 10.
Knitted Tie Waist Dress
I wore this dress for Easter this year and I loved it. The tie waist is super flattering and I am in love with the olive color!
Hoodie Denim Jacket
Another great Amazon fashion find was this hoodie denim jacket. Surprisingly great quality and the hood is detachable. Super cute for a casual look!
Dog Paw Washer
This thing has been a life saver on muddy, rainy days. We have a large dog (80 lbs) and it works really well.
Dremel Pet Nail Grooming Tool
Our dog tolerates this so much better than getting his nails clipped and I’m less likely to cut the nail too short using this sanding method rather than a clipper. It also seems to go quicker than nail clipping (probably because he doesn’t fight it as much).
Diaper Pail Refills
Love the diaper pail refills for the Diaper Genie from Amazon. They work great and it’s one less thing I have to remember to buy at the store. :)
Puracy Natural Liquid Dish Soap
I am in love with this dish soap! It smells SO GOOD and doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals. I use it for all of our dishes and baby bottles. Also looks great in the mason jar soap pump I put it in to keep by the kitchen sink.
Mason Jar Soap Dispenser
The cutest way to have your dish soap sit by the kitchen sink (I hate having soap bottles sit on the counter). This modern farmhouse soap dispenser looks and works great! Plus, one bottle of the Puracy Natural Dish Soap fits perfectly!
Tortoise Geometric Earrings
I love these earrings. They go with everything. I wear them at least once a week and they don’t bother my sensitive ears.
